Can't comment on the performance of the knife. I received it very quickly, opened it up and started feeling it. In all honesty, the knife is exactly what it claims to be. This is a very powerful knife. The blade is thick, can be 3mm or 3.5mm at the tip. The problem for me is that I was looking for a working knife. While someone might be happy to have one of these for occasional use in their personal kitchen, I doubt I would be able to use such a large and heavy knife all day, every day. Carpal tunnel is a very real risk for those of us who do this type of work on a day-to-day basis. For this reason I sent mine back. As always, Amazon refunded my purchase.
