Difficult product to rate

This is a difficult review. There were problems, but I haven't determined the cause yet. I bought this product because my powerline adapters were not stable, so I decided to replace them with this product. I chose this particular line of products because I have had good luck with the tp-link router in the past. Ironically, when I plugged the powerline adapter into an outlet while it was plugged into the router. The tp-link router is out of order. After some debugging and assistance from tp-link tech support I decided the router needed to be replaced. As a result, I bought the exact same tp-link router model. Now it seems to work without any problems. It took quite a while for the powerline adapter and TP-Link extender to work properly. When the adapter was unplugged from the outlet, the indicator showing the amperage from the outlet was red. tp-link tech support told me that this means there is not enough electricity in the house. I refused to accept it. I changed the outlet and the red light turned green. When replacing the socket, I noticed that one of the wires was a little less tight than the others. I don't know if that was a factor. Now with all the green lights on the powerline adapter and extender, I actually have Wi-Fi signals that are fluctuating in strength. I measure their strength with a Wi-Fi analyzer on my smartphone. There are times when I see the signal just disappear completely. At the moment I don't know why this is happening. I am giving this product three stars because I am still diagnosing issues I am having. Of all the possible causes, intervention seems the most likely. But figuring out what the interference is does the trick.
