Review on 🔪 Enhance Precision and Versatility with DEWALT Circular Saw Fence (DW3278) by Eric Fish

First of all my wife bought me a very nice DeWalt 7 1/4 inch circular saw for Christmas last year and I needed to get the right size guide for this saw. It turns out that all DeWalt saws work from the same manual, so that's good, there's no confusion. I've finally used it a few times and am collecting my thoughts on this teardown guide. , and will hold. The metal is also galvanized so I'm assuming it's steel, but the beauty of this is that it shouldn't corrode over time. Depending on which side of the saw blade you have the correct mark on the saw table I want the measurement to be accurate. I always do a small sample and measure and very seldom have to make corrections. There are many other brands of saws that also use the same dimensions for the main frame, so I'm sure this will work with other brands. I think it's the same as the Porter cord, I know it's wider than Makita's, I don't know if the threaded handle that holds it is the same, but most saws come with this part anyway (the Most, except my DeWalt, the Schlecht: My only criticism of this item is the mounting screw.The handle is very small in diameter so it's difficult to tighten with your fingers.It doesn't have to be very tight to get it in place and It's a little annoying to hold in place, but the serrated edge isn't very grippy either, which is an added bonus. I would have liked a larger diameter or some sort of wing nut grip, but overall it's functional enough that I didn't look for anything else While I'm happy with this item, overall it's a must have for a circular saw.
