Separate latch and close speeds. Perfect door closer.

My kids kept slamming a basement door that you could feel in the room above. This closer worked great. No more slams. The door I used is a medium wood door that is in a French door frame with a large glass pane in the middle. The door closed with a small gap in the lower corner. I added some more door seal for that and everything works well. I’d expect a new door or one that is in better shape not to have any gaps like mine. Installation was easy enough. My frame wasn’t flush but the install for the flush frame worked fine for me.
