I am very satisfied with this closer. they provide the instruction and 1:1 drawing for all installation cases(left/right, inside and outside). so, the installing was very easy without confusion.the hold-open feature is also very nice working. actually, I had to use the foot latch to move my bags whenever I open the door. but I don't need to use this because the door is still opening at 90'angle.I am also satisfied with the reasonable price.

This product definitely works as it should. Install instructions aren’t the best as others have stated but they are good enough to help you get the job done. It keeps my garage door from slamming hard. I purchased the model with the door hold feature which works very well because it was always a struggle trying to find something to keep the door propped open. I highly recommend this product but it’s too new to tell how durable it will be.

The product works great. If you don't know its operation principle, your installation may encounter issues. But customer service is very help helpful.I have a push-to-right parallel installation and require 90 degree "hold open". Following the shipped instructions can never achieve the task. It either lost the "latching" capability (if you preload 45 degree) or "hold open" at 135 degree (if you don't preload). I am somewhat dissatisfied with the installation instructions. There are many options but little guidance or help for selecting the right template. Basically, for the DIY community, the instructions are nearly useless.The opener itself is a quality product made of sturdy materials strong enough for my metal garage door from the house.I am surprised that Walmart made it their 'choice' since it is not easy to understand the directions.

Door closer is of good quality. If you have previous experience in installing door closers, the installation should not be a problem. However, if you're a first timer, the translation grammar from the original instructions could be confusing.

Purchased this closer due to the fact my son would never shut the back door. Once i figured out which diagram installation to use the set up went smooth and only took about 10 minutes to complete. It does take some adjusting on the closer in order to get it to close completely. Overall I'm very satisfied with the Onarway adjustable door closer.

It makes the door heavy to open.But that spring loads the device for a controlled close.Very nice, after 20 years the door doesn't slam.

My set up needed the parallel bracket. The instructions reference it as though it's included. I thought i was missing a part but it turns out you need to buy it separately. This obviously made it impossible to assemble. Other than that I had no issues. Seems like quality,

It functions really well but instructions are pretty bad. Basically the adjustment side(the one with flat head screws on the side) should be facing the hinge and while it says the arm should be 90 degrees, it causes the door to be fairly difficult to open. I put mine a few more inches offset and it feels so much easier to open without losing its closing ability. My door is light though so follow my way if u want to but if your door is pretty heavy then 90 degrees would be a good idea.

Used this product on main door, so far working as it should. little confused to understand the installation directions but, went through again and again, and got it. overall good product so far.

No more slamming door. My door jam loves the soft close. Easy to adjust except for the hold open feature the instruction on this feature is not easy to do so we don't use it. Small and unobtrusive.

Door closer squeaks, can't get it to stop squeaking.Latch speed does not stay as set, speeds up after a week, then have to adjust again, very annoying.Would not recommend, spend money on a better closer.
