Review on DEWALT 18V 20V Adapter DCA1820 by Kevin Schnitzer

First Dewalt product I have ever bought and I give it a 1 star rating. Why? Would you believe you have to remove the battery from the adapter when not in use? Why? This discharges the battery! I have contacted Dewalt and they are aware of the issue and this was on purpose. It tells me they don't care. So while you can leave the battery in Dewalt tools that don't require an adapter, you must remove the battery from tools that use an adapter. This must be "proudly" marked on all packaging for this adapter. You don't have to know that you put the tool on a shelf AFTER you buy it with a fully charged battery and take it off the shelf a few days later to find the dead battery. SHAME ON YOU DEWALT!
