I used it to connect my Raspberry Pi to a breadboard. As you can see from the first picture it's really wide and only allows access to 1 row of pins on one side and 2 rows on the other side. Also, another similar board I have has 5V and 3.3V power connected at the top of the rows (you can see this in the background of the 2nd picture). With a little work of adding 5V and grounding with jumpers, and without needing two rows on one side, everything will work. I wish I had searched longer and found something similar to what I had. It came in the kit I bought.
