It was very easy to assemble, the only thing that can be confusing is figuring out which gear is used where. Take your time and that is very logical. As for K&N's performance, first impressions are very good! this is def raises the engine/exhaust sound a notch or two! And the acceleration behavior is also noticeably improved! It's almost as if you feel the car is breathing easier, and apparently it is! It just runs smoother, even at normal cruising speeds, feels like the car just got a new tune or something. For the record, I'm a skeptic by nature, so I agonize over spending money on stuff like this because it annoys me. me when I go to the trouble of wearing it and spending money only to find out the product sucks! Not the case here, buy a K&N if you're looking for CAI, it WORKS! Be clear, that doesn't make your car a NASA rocket or anything, you'll have to spend a lot more money for that status!
