Review on BOSCH JA1010 Jig Saw Guide: Precision Circular and Parallel Cutting Tool in Black by Jason Laney

I bought this to use a Bosch JS572E jigsaw to cut holes in plywood. The product drawings in the instructions DO NOT CORRECT THE PRODUCT! So plan to find out for yourself. I recommend practicing on a piece of scrap once or twice. Also, the assembly instructions were very ambiguous and incomprehensible, making it easy to attach the clips in a way that doesn't work. If the clamps are rotated 180 degrees and mounted on the stem, the clamp loosens and bends when the locking screw is tightened. This is not clear from the instructions. You will also get the best stability if you mount the clamp on the far side of the jigsaw from the jigsaw rather than the near side as shown in the instructions, but this will reduce the cutting radius available. It could be used but the instructions were a big disappointment. I'm willing to pay more for Bosch tools, but they have to do their part and provide really good, thoughtful instructions. This is part of the quality I pay them for and expect.
