Review on Remflex 6005 Exhaust Collector Gasket for Mopar - Pack of 2: High-Quality Performance Seals by Steve Harris

A colleague suggested this product one day when I needed a gasket that could fit two mismatched pipe sizes on my car. So, a set of Remflex grip seals made it to my door. First off, this is one of the BEST gaskets I've used on ALL the exhaust couplers. Although many gaskets are metal, they are not thick, so in some cases you will find that they do not seal properly. Now, with that padding, it's pretty thick; hence it tends to "squeeze" into a perfect fit. Also, the open end of this particular type helped a lot with adjustment just before tightening. One thing you need to be aware of though: It's ENOUGH fragile. It is so fragile that it can literally fall apart at the slightest bend. not exactly what should happen to you after struggling with exhaust bolts and removing things etc. Also, this gasket is more of a one-time use, so removing it for further work may cause it to fall apart. In short, have graceful hands and you'll be rewarded with one of the finest pads ever made.
