Review on Maximize Your Protection with 7iDP Flex Knee Guards by Eric Kim

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great protection for everyday use.

I have used the 7iDP knee pad over 30 times on local intermediate/advanced mountain bike trails. At first glance it appears to be a well made product although there were no obvious R or L markings on it but once I realized the logos were on the outside of the leg everything was fine. Second, it's more of a "hybrid" knee pad as it appears to use a plastic knee pad underneath an abrasion-resistant coating. All round a well fitting product that doesn't slip or shift on my standard MTB loop (6-8 miles and about 900-1000 feet up/down). In the event of an impact the product absorbed the impact just like other knee pads I have used but I was surprised when I stood up expecting the knee pad to be badly damaged and only saw a small click in the cover and a slight twist of the knee pad. punch pad. I adjusted the lining and took a deep breath, realizing this would be painful and might require stitches. The disadvantages of this lining are minimal. In warmer weather (>80 degrees Fahrenheit) they get a little toasty and sweaty. Also, I can't put these linings on my shoes. As I said, the disadvantages are minimal, but not optimal. Durability is good but I will post an update if needed after longer use.
