Got this to convert the voltage from 48v to 12v for an electric golf cart. This allows me to run standard 12v cells through a regular lighter/socket or inside without disturbing the balance of the battery itself. It should work the same on any cart or scooter within its voltage range. I measured the output to be a solid 12.8V on the fly. I haven't found a way to set the voltage on the device, but I don't need it for my application. This model is slightly better than other models because it has a built-in switch line that can be directly connected to the key line or a switch to turn on the converter. This means it draws little current from the battery (and provides no output 12) when the control line is grounded. This is ideal for high voltage cars as it eliminates the need for a relay or other mechanism.
