Throw it away and buy a real hood.

Working (sort of) but I wouldn't use this for serious extraction work. I originally bought this for a gear oil change on my stationary boat. Small transmission of only 2 liters. It's essentially a large syringe, the size of the hose is quite large, limiting your ability to move it around the dipstick hole. And it flows back out (slowly) once you stop pulling the plunger and make a mess. I ended up throwing it away and buying a real pneumatic extractor from a port charter.
