Received a ZYPDE board - different settings, couldn't be reprogrammed, self destructed :(

I bought a bare ZY12PDN board but got a ZY12PDN board from YZX Studio instead .This board has other modes but couldn't reprogram to start at a different voltage (default is 5v).I started the return process, the seller refused the return and just issued a refund (quickly).I hope mine Experience is an exception as this device, if functional, would be useful. In the attached video, I switch different voltages, which is what this board does correctly, and then unplug and plug the USB-C cable while holding the button down which turns on reprogramming mode. At my preferred voltage I press and hold button until LED goes off then plug he unplugged and reinserted the board but kept coming back to 5V. After this attempt I repeated the process but saw a tiny spark - the end of the Gl Experimentation :( EDIT: I've attached a screenshot of the spark coming out of the board coming - I might have shorted it out somehow. Also, another image of the board shows that one of the components is misaligned. Below I've pasted the instructions for the ZYPDE board from another website: Default Mode Settings. Press the button and then connect it. After the red, green, and blue lights flash, release the button and enter the default mode. The corresponding functions of the light colors are as follows: Standard power Short press button Long press button Red Fixed voltage 5V Low to High cycle PPS profile Long press for level control Yellow Fixed voltage 9V Green Fixed voltage 12V Blue Fixed voltage 15V Blue Fixed voltage 20V purple PD2.0 drunk upscale white 5V fixed voltage + millet low to high cycle PPS long press gear for step voltage control Red flash polls low to high Yellow flash low low high poll Green flash low to high stop in drunk high from low to PPS high cycle Long press gear leads to step control. After the green flash is drunk, a group of drunk PPS switch the PPS high voltage up and down, long press leads to the step voltage control. Hold to enter step pressure setting. Purple Flash, Mystery Custom Function White Flash, Mystery Custom Function + XIAO-MIA After setting, press and hold the button to save and exit the default light. The next time you turn it on, it will work directly with the default settings.
