Not close to the body.

1 I have a 2014 Ram EcoDiesel cab. I had other small safety devices that I had to remove. These guards are not stuck. You'll need to drill a few holes to secure everything. There were no installation instructions. I had to google and search. Although I like them, let's see how they will work.
