I give two stars because it's better than nothing and the setup tool works well. The ring comes off with the setting 90% of the time if I'm not very careful. Dewalt DCF883 Let me know if you offer an improved design because I would buy it. You're on the right track, but it's not perfect yet. Edit: I looked through the whole pack because they don't stay! 10 of them should last a lifetime if done right. I have a Thundergun IR damper about 20 years old that has never given me a locking ring issue. These rings are thinner than the original rings and just won't hold up. I put them back on all the time, and when I say I've worked through the whole pack, 10 of them are now flying where I can't find them. Everyone probably folds 20 times before this happens.
