Great product. Tired of sockets flying from impact. The installation tool makes replacement child's play. Now the sockets fit snugly and snugly, easy to put on and take off as mentioned.

Worked like a champ. I use my impacts every day at work and often go through hog rings. It appears to be the same kit that our Snap On -Dealer used but it costs $10 to install one ring The installer tool works very well, fits 3/8" or 1/2" although this kit only comes with 3/8" rings.

I give two stars because it's better than nothing and the setup tool works well. The ring comes off with the setting 90% of the time if I'm not very careful. Dewalt DCF883 Let me know if you offer an improved design because I would buy it. You're on the right track, but it's not perfect yet. Edit: I looked through the whole pack because they don't stay! 10 of them should last a lifetime if done right. I have a Thundergun IR damper about 20 years old that has never given me a locking ring issue.

Not happy with these anvil rings. I'm a professional mechanic and I use my 3/8 battery kick A LOT every day. On Monday I installed a new ring and o-ring from this kit and now on Wednesday it has already loosened and the nest is falling off. The ones I buy from the Snap On Truck usually last about 3 months. They're a bit more expensive, but apparently it's worth buying just better.
