Review on 🔧 10 Sets - 3/8 inch Impact Wrench Socket Retainer Retaining Ring with O-Ring Mac IR - includes Anvil Retaining Ring Install Tool by Jack Duncan

I have several 3/8 inch cordless and air tools (IR, Milwaukee, Makita and Latch). I've been looking for a source for snap rings that actually work on ANY of them and the search continues. Most of my percussion instruments are 3-4 years old and used in a professional environment so they have some wear and tear. The o-rings included with this kit are thinner than other kits I've purchased which is a good thing. Other kits have a very thick o-ring that doesn't allow the snap ring to sit in the groove at all. But the o-rings themselves in this kit are too big to fit in the ring grooves of any of my percussion instruments (too much height is appropriate) With some grinding of the tool groove the ring will actually fit in the groove but there isn't enough tension from the O-ring to hold the bushing on the tool. Comes with box full of o-rings and circlips. For now I can use the snap rings in this set (with significant tooling grind) and some Icker O-rings from another set to keep my sockets on the tools.
