Also great for tiles

I used this as a transition between the tile and the outside of the door, allowing the metal part to sit slightly above the tile. It's a solid aluminum profile with just enough "rubber" to isolate the sill from the elements. My door is 32 inches, so a hacksaw and miter box handled it quickly. Make sure you make a small cut at each end so the screw holes are centered. I didn't need the rubber door bumper so I removed it leaving just the small round part between the metal and the concrete and tiled next to it. I used the blue Tapcon screws to attach it and added some epoxy for good measure. Added silicone sealant between the tile and this part. The door is above this piece so the inner door is next to the square edge. I also used https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000I199Z8 on the door to keep the buggy out. To do this I had to add a tiny ramp on the floor to keep the square metal edge from pushing the rubber door brush out of position.
