Good product but poor hole placement.

If you need to trim it to fit your opening the outer holes are so close to the end you may need to trim them. It would be better if it was a five hole design or the outer holes were closer to the center.

Ideal for non-standard use.

Well they said it wouldn't work. Those were 2 different production companies. There used to be a sliding door with a fly screen, they wanted it closed. After that I gave myself five. on the back of the sharpener.

Unusable gasket insert

As you can see from the photo, the gasket insert supplied with this threshold does not match the one shown in the manufacturer's product photos. Rather than a V-groove as shown in the product photos, it is a flat edge insert that offers little to no cushioning between the sill and the door and requires absolute and almost impossible precision where the sill is fitted. The point is not just that the insert was deformed in transit, it really is made that way. It is impossible to create a V shape…

I used this as a transition between the tile and the outside of the door, allowing the metal part to sit slightly above the tile. It's a solid aluminum profile with just enough "rubber" to isolate the sill from the elements. My door is 32 inches, so a hacksaw and miter box handled it quickly. Make sure you make a small cut at each end so the screw holes are centered. I didn't need the rubber door bumper so I removed it leaving just the small round part between the metal and the concrete and…

Ideal for old exterior doors

My 19th century house has 4 old historic wooden doors, all of different shapes of curvature. After all, they are 130-140 years old. While all hardware stores sell weatherproofing products for the top and side of doors, anything attached to the bottom of the door is junk in my opinion. Say hello to the threshold with a rubber strip. It complements well other weatherproof doors and blocks drafts at the door. Next, for one of my doors that was slightly warped (apparently the 20th century was tough
