It will work, but maybe not for much longer.
Cheaply made. Not sure if it's factory or fake, but where the spring is held at a 90 degree angle, that area broke after about 4 gentle strokes of the freezer door. I had to remove it and put the spring back in and it will probably slip again. Really bad design from fridge manufacturer Norcold and the durability of this spring is questionable.
