I have started knitting socks on an adjustable KB loom with metal pins. This oval plastic version is easier and faster! I don't find anything "huge" about the finished sock; I wear a size 9 and as you can see they fit snugly on a lady's loom. it was about saying that these looms made huge socks. My only complaint (don't take the star off) some of the pins had a tiny ridge at the tip of the pin that caught the yarn; easy to smooth with a thin nail file. Not a big deal to fix, just a little trouble at first.
