Review on 🔍 WIX Filters - 46116 Air Filter Panel, Single Pack by George Mack

I bought the Wix filter because of its reputation as "the best" among professionals and consumers alike. I can't say if it really works better than the others. What I can tell is that it was very tight (a little big) and the installation was trial and error. I couldn't just open the air box lid, take out the old filter, put in the new filter and close it. I tried closing the lid with the Wix filter inside but it just didn't work. I ended up removing the lid completely, peeling off ALL the attachments, inserting the filter, and then reattaching the lid by inserting the two tabs on the lid into the corresponding slots in the filter compartment (bottom). I was then able to close the lid/snap the two clips (but it was still very tight) and reattach everything. So don't be sorry, next time it will be easier. FYI, that was for a 2005 Nissan Maxima. Good luck and be patient if you decide to use Wix in your car. One beer was enough for me :)
