My youngest is 3 years old, he opened the front door and the sliding glass door and tried to sneak out. The front door was easy to attach, but I didn't want anything that had to be screwed into the sliding glass door. That was excellent. I've had this for a few weeks now. I hold it up during the day and for a guy who's only 5ft 2in tall there was a bit of a learning curve. Once locked it will fall on your head if you try to rotate it. But once properly installed and locked, none of my kids can open the door and it won't fall over if they try. We tested it. At night I used it low. It's easier for me to install and lock, but the fact that it's on the bottom worries me that kids will try to figure it out. This works both ways. For me it worried me less. It was easy to use and served its purpose. I definitely recommend it.
