Fails after a few months

The magnetic lock inside doesn't work with the key so I can't remove the lock. Inside the key are 2 tiny magnets that appear to repel other magnets inside the lock, allowing you to remove the lock. Either the magnets are defective or the plastic inside the lock is now torn off.
