I bought these after moving into our new house. The construction workers "stole" my water for other houses. You were handy! Don't take my water anymore, sir! Good product. Everyone who comes always asks where I got the locks from and I always send them the link!

The magnetic lock inside doesn't work with the key so I can't remove the lock. Inside the key are 2 tiny magnets that appear to repel other magnets inside the lock, allowing you to remove the lock. Either the magnets are defective or the plastic inside the lock is now torn off.

Completely solved our water theft problem. It couldn't be easier, insert a plastic key with a magnet, screw on the bib, remove the key, done. Even if someone turns on the water, it's completely sealed, no dripping, splashing, or trying to jam the valve handle. This is one of those products that I would give 10 stars if I could.

The key is a little tricky to use, but other than that it does exactly what it's supposed to do. I recommend it if you have hose faucets outside of your home that others can access from the street. Sometimes crazy kids turn them on at night as a mean and expensive prank, but this cheap product prevents that costly incident.

I've installed 8 of these on rental units. Ease of installation. Tested and locked and unlocked as expected. It seemed like a good decision. The problem is that after about 6 months they are no longer unlocked. Put the key in and the head spins and spins. I tried several correct number keys and none worked. I used a small screwdriver to remove the locking ring and remove the lock. I could see dirt/grime/mold around the magnet in the lock, preventing it from moving and of course unlocking…

After only 3 or 4 uses one of the locks stopped working so we contacted the seller. They sent us a "removal tool". We used the tool according to the instructions in the emailed video. However, the tool was never clamped tight enough to remove the faucet latch. In addition, the head of the screw included in the kit broke off during the tightening process. We now have both the faucet lock and removal tool on our external faucet. A few weeks later, the second faucet lock we bought for our garden…

This amazing product and everyone I showed it to was very impressed. I bought two of these because our toddler likes to turn on the faucets outside and I was afraid I wouldn't notice and lose a lot of water (bad idea in the dry Southwest). Once you put the key in, screw it onto the faucet and with a kind of magnetic function, the lock will prevent water from flowing out of the faucet.
