Doesn't seem to shut off

It's a good little heater. It heats my room up in no time and gives you a good amount of control. However, my unit does not appear to shut the fan off no matter what I do. It will stop heating if the desired temperature has been reached, but the little fan just keeps on blowing. I tried to turn it off, but the remote and power buttons are both ineffective at shutting the fan off. All they seem to do is control the heating functionality.Maybe I just have a defective unit. In any case, it's a quiet fan and if you don't mind the noise this heater will work perfectly for you.
