My New Brand of Paper

I've been using this paper for a year now and can't wait to update my old review. This paper is still my favorite brand of paper. I hate cutting paper so this is very handy. I've tried both hot and cold paper and my opinions on both papers are the same. I also used 2 media types on this paper as I was painting in watercolor when I posted my original review and have since switched to gouache. When I used watercolors before, my colors looked very light on this paper. Different brands of paper often make the same watercolor look different after soaking, and this paper was by far one of the best papers. Now when I use gouache, this benefit is only present when using diluted gouache. But if I do, it's a big plus. I'll admit that I'm rough with my paper and use quite a few unnecessary extra layers for planning. So it's not uncommon for me to have my brushes scratch the paper. I haven't gotten this paper to peel when I use new watercolor paper, that's usually the first thing I look for. Sides with washi tape and then leave it under some books overnight when the picture is done. This paper can and will warp if you do nothing or just stick it on. I have included a picture of a discarded test painting that has warped and to check I put a 5lb box on it for about an hour to compare the warping.
