Fits: This AEM SRI fits my 2004 Mazda6 perfectly, no hassles or modifications required. Installation: The supplied instructions are very clear. However, I did it a little differently - I really wanted to remove the driver's side wheel, so I jacked up the car, unbolted and unbolted the front wheel, then reached out from under the car to get at the bolts holding the resonator in place and hold position . After that, you literally just pull it down. As for the SRI itself, removing the airbox is easy as long as the nuts holding the bracket it goes into aren't too rusty, and actually installing the SRI isn't difficult. NOTE: Some of the hoses he was meant to remove and the caps are so tight I just plugged the hose instead. Performance: Definitely a different sound. Not as loud as I thought - it's actually a very faint hum at 1-2k rpm, but once you open the throttle past 3.5k or 4k it really roars. I didn't have any problems with heat dissipation. Throttle response is a little better, but I actually bought it for the sound.
