I like Belkin devices, but their packaging is some of the most user-unfriendly in the business. I deduct a star for that. Good: 6 ports at a very good price. Bus or self catering. A high quality 6 pin / 6 pin 5ft cable included. The power cord of the wall wart is nice and long. Cons: The packaging is really difficult to open. bulky wall wart; takes up two positions on many power strips and must fit into the bottom socket of the wall outlet. Ugliness: no compatibility list, but so far so good. (I'll report any incompatibility I find. Durability unknown, but time will tell. (I've had issues with 1394 hubs from other vendors.) No power/activity LEDs.
