I struggled for a long time before deciding on this pump to replace my old portable milking machine. How many PS? How many cubic meters per minute? After a long search I bought this pump. Pumps designed for "milking" cost $$$, but if everything is kept to a minimum, a pump is still a pump. I added a $20 vacuum regulator and a $15 gauge to this pump and now I have a great and quiet system for milking my jersey and I haven't gone broke doing it. This pump takes my system down to the recommended 11 pounds for milking in about 15 seconds and maintains a perfect vacuum. It might not have enough volume to run two buckets at once, but it does a great job with one. I am planning to buy another one to run a clean system in place. UPDATE: Almost 3 years have passed today and the pump just stopped working. It works and pulls air into a deep vacuum but the CFM WAY DOWN and WILL NOT start my bucket cluster.
