It worked fine for a few months and then I got intermittent power cuts when my computer (Win 10) suddenly stopped recognizing the device. Other Wi-Fi devices on my network worked fine. I've tried all sorts of fixes: restarting the PC and/or changing USB ports sometimes helped, although the USB 3.0 ports always caused problems. After another 4-5 months, the condition worsened. From research I came to the conclusion that it overheated several times and damaged the unit even though it wasn't in front of a fan or other excessively hot spot. Sometime after about 1 year it got to the point where it just wouldn't connect even though I could see the device. Tossed it in the trash and ordered a (hopefully) better product.
