This is a great deal for the price! Considering it comes with two separate bulbs, they cost around $5, which isn't too bad if you're ordering online. I use them for my bearded dragon tank. Our house is very cold at night, so it is sometimes necessary to provide extra heat at night to keep it from freezing, as reptiles cannot regulate their own temperature. These types of ceramic heaters are the best because they don't emit any light that could keep your reptile awake and disrupt its sleep cycle. They warm the body well, but do not glow.
