I thought it would be the perfect solution for loosening the nut on the water supply hose under the sink when there isn't room for a wrench handle. The sink wrench will not work because there is a soldered tube next to this hose that prevents the sink wrench jaws from closing around the nut. Pressing the pin allows the head to rotate 90 degrees, but it doesn't work. It will lock there when the pin is released, instead the head will fall to the next locked position. It then actually slipped off the ½ inch hex nut because the sliding jaw was wobbling and not holding its position. It's a great concept, but it needs tweaking to work effectively in melee combat. I didn't use the ratchet function. I returned the wrench and bought a Crowfoot set to use with my ratchet instead.
