Good tool for tight spaces

A wrench is very useful when you need to work in tight spaces. The ability to rotate the head 90 degrees to minimize the space required for rotation was critical to the job. I had. I would most likely only use it in those situations though, as turning your head is easy to hit and will move it when you don't want it to. For the right job, this is the perfect tool.

Absolutely useless - adjustable wrenches

Perhaps those who wrote moderately positive reviews were luckier and got a really useful product. Mine arrived today and I immediately wanted to use it for a specific project. I was surprised that the (somewhat shabby) box didn't come with instructions. I went to the video and found it easy enough. When I tried it on the first nut, the jaw came loose after half a turn. Went back to the video and yes I used it correctly. Tried again, same problem. A wrench that cannot hold a nut is of limited…

Pros
  • A lot of positive emotions
Cons
  • Almost everything is ok

surprisingly effective for the price

I needed a wrench with a head I could turn 90 degrees; The ratchet was an added feature I had serious doubts about. Well the ratchet is great, works like clockwork and saves a lot of hassle of removing and repositioning the wrench after every quarter turn in tight turns. The swivel aspect works well too, but it doesn't lock, which limits its applicability. For the price, though, you can't beat it - it's well made and finished, durable, and thanks to its small size, it's perfect for loosening…

Doesn't work in tight spaces

I thought it would be the perfect solution for loosening the nut on the water supply hose under the sink when there isn't room for a wrench handle. The sink wrench will not work because there is a soldered tube next to this hose that prevents the sink wrench jaws from closing around the nut. Pressing the pin allows the head to rotate 90 degrees, but it doesn't work. It will lock there when the pin is released, instead the head will fall to the next locked position. It then actually slipped off…

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • No instructions

It didn't work

I didn't even get a chance to use the key. It arrived completely unusable, missing the thumb roll to adjust the jaw and the pin holding it in place was virtually useless. I was very disappointed because a smaller version of the same key saved my life. I was really hoping that these two unique tools would replace the $120 wrenches I use every day to install faucets. But honestly, the last thing I want are heavy pieces of metal falling on my head when I'm stuck in a closet with a 10" door opening

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • Some little things

Design and quality issues

I have never written a bad review without suggesting a solution if I could find it. Many times I have received a bad product but that was because only the one I received was of poor quality and I can often exchange and get a better product next time. I only wanted to buy this wrench because of the ratchet. The fact that it was a flexible head was a bonus for me. I have different key options. Many of them under the Crescent brand are proven. I've bought big brands like Craftsman, Kobalt and…

  • Great for me
