Review on ALAVENTE Windshield Bracket 2007 2017 Wrangler by Patrick Arnautov

I very rarely write bad reviews but these suspenders are not well thought out. The metal is too thin and bends easily. This is also a small benefit, however, as it gives you creative freedom to bend them into a more regular shape that actually matches the windshield's slope. Also be prepared to cut about 3/4 inch off the passenger side wiper blade to loosen the poorly designed bracket. I hope you have some pretty powerful wire cutters! The most unacceptable feature of the design is that the top and bottom mounts don't sit flush against each other from side to side. The difference between top and bottom light is about 8°. Unfortunately this is part of the bracket which they have reinforced with the finest heavy plate steel in all of China and I'm afraid any flexing will break the weld/colored rubber holding the reinforcement. They really do look like they were designed for a different car. Please DO NOT buy them. I've waited too long to install and now I can't get it back. I'll replace them when they inevitably rust, I just hope it doesn't damage the headlights or my hood if they do!
