Plastic problems: (1) does not hold carbonation. If I carbonate on Monday it will be flat by Wednesday. So I had to keep bottles of cold water in the fridge and carbonate them just before drinking. And then use the whole bottle, because a partially filled bottle loses its fizz faster than a full one. (2) After a few months, water will come out at the top and back into the hose. This metal is great. If I fizz on a Monday, it's still good on a Wednesday, and a partially empty bottle will still retain its fizz. Not long ago, but if it starts leaking water back up the hose I'll report back.
