I usually wear a 9 but this shoe fits in a 9 but scratches the heel unless I wear a heel patch and thick socks over it. This is inconvenient and takes at least 2 weeks to get used to. Don't buy these if you want very comfortable running shoes. They are more for aesthetics and look very good as work shoes if you have a job that requires solid black shoes. You have a casual, professional look. They look great with pants, stretch pants or yoga pants. You can wear these shoes with different types of pants and they still look cleaner and more professional than most sneakers. It's just that the fit isn't perfect, and it's one of those things to weigh up if you care more about comfort or style.
