The fan was for Jeep Wangler. I had a previous flex-a-lite fan that made much less noise. This fan is much better and I am very happy with it. The instructions were good until I got to step 8. To place the thermostat temperature sensor in the radiator as in step 8, I had to remove the fan assembly from steps 1 through 7, install the sensor, and then reinstall the fan assembly. Sounds easy, but it took another hour or two. Therefore, before installation, consider how the sensor will be installed in your car before mounting the fan.
