This is the correct replacement belt for 2009 HHR with Ecotec 2.2L Engine. I checked the part number on the AC Delco website and compared it to the original belt part number. The original belt was on the car almost 100,000 miles so I replaced the belt and tensioner while doing other maintenance. Note: To replace the belt and tensioner on most GM front wheel drive vehicles, the passenger side engine mount must be removed. In this case, the engine must be supported. If you are unfamiliar with this type of repair, it is best to leave it to a professional. Considering the cost (or time) associated with a replacement, it makes sense to me to only use genuine/OEM parts. The original Delco AC belt ran quietly and remained in good condition after 10 years and 100,000 miles.
