Setup required

Here we connect to Ethernet. We have several other adapters that work and some worked for a while but stopped working. These devices work, but it takes a few minutes for the iPad to connect. Sometimes there is no connection so I reverse the Lightning connector and finally it connects. I don't understand why there should be a delay. Charging through this adapter is slower than directly through the DC/DC converter.
