I work in the low voltage access control and video surveillance industry and in my last office I hooked it up for keypad access, door kicks and all that. I'm on a rental and I really didn't want to run cables and install power supplies and everything so I decided to give this product a try. It's pretty solid for the price, I think I'd trust it with my front door, I currently have it on my office door and on my teenage daughter's door to keep her grandkids away from their stuff. It's very easy to say I haven't had any problems. There was a small issue with the door latch which was a bit large but I used a drill to make the hole slightly larger. Overall I'm happy with the product, let's see how long it lasts.
