Best in class product for filters

This is my first experience. Some of my friends have them on race/project cars. Here's the problem: My 4WD 05 Yukon Denali hit 10mpg city and 12.7 highway with a tailwind. After installing the KN intake, my truck sounds like it has some stance when I step on it, it sounds tame at idle and best of all it gets 14.8 mpg city and about 19 mpg on the highway . Those numbers scared me. I was expecting a little more mileage, but these are real numbers and I'm very happy. I know 19hwy still sucks but given that it's improved by an average of 50% I can't complain! The only issue I had with the install was that the screws that came with it were too short to go through my mass air flow sensor, so I ran to premium hardware and grabbed a $3 set that was a bit longer and voila.
