I cannot recommend this modem strongly enough. Both my original one and the warranty-replaced one had defective coax connectors, which frustrated me for several hours until I almost cried as I repeatedly tried and failed to fix it - and I don't cry easily. I'm a goddamn programmer with a college degree and professional IT experience, and even I couldn't get this crap to work. I can't believe Netgear's quality control is so terrible that two modems in a row ($430 modems, no less) are invalid. Imagine charging half a thousand for a product you didn't even design properly! It's garbage. No better than an expensive paperweight.
