Just the perfect size since I started making steamed buns; Actually I could make 3 layers (20 large steamed buns) and/or perfect for large portions of different meals like parties and meetings and as it is a steaming method it heats up and cooks quickly so you don't have to wait long for the time to do that water reaches the boiling point compared to heavy; after my first use there was a patch of water stains or maybe mineral stains although i washed them with warm soapy water first but again for their purpose and size i am very satisfied and would recommend them
