Review on πŸ’‘ M-PowerPoint 2Point Mk2 by Adam Walsh

Revainrating 5 out of 5

M-Power P2P and Trend M/P2P are ABSOLUTELY IDENTICAL!

M-Power P2P and Trend M/P2P are ABSOLUTELY THE SAME! Even the packaging is identical, only the paper inserts differ between the brands. Buy the cheapest version of these two and you will be happy. I'll try to add pictures later, but here's my test/review of both versions. Personally, I bought both and after comparing, returned the most expensive. First I would use either a short edge or a "V"/90 degree cut, but all three points (long, short, V) were 132mm between all 7 arms at full extension. The "old version" had problems: the long edge was 1/8" to 3/16" from 1-2 point to 6-7 point; but the edges of the "new version" were within 0.5 mm (1/50 inch) between all points when fully extended, 32 inches (132 mm between each set of points). Manufacturers recommend a functional "full extension" of 28 inches/711 mm; I was able to get a full draw of 31-3/4”/806mm, but personally I would recommend a maximum of 30”/770mm. The further you extend the scissors, the more flexible/brittle they become and tend to jam/snap. Although at 806mm all fine edges were still within 0.5mm. For 99% of users, this accuracy is great. For those who need/need more than 0.5mm or 1/50 inch length by 30 inch length, this $35 item is NOT for you. If you need 1/100th of an inch or nanometer accuracy, you should spend $300-$500 or more. For the rest of us, these articles work great. Both Trend and M-Power show no difference at any parking spot. One last note, make sure you block it before you start tagging. Otherwise there will be spontaneous errors due to operating errors/failures. Have fun and cheers!
