Quality Polished Nickel Door Handles

We bought and renovated a 22 year old home in Florida and finally decided that the old door handles should go. We bought 2 lock handles, 5 privacy screen handles, 2 latches and 5 cabinet handle sets. Considering the attractive price of these pens, I was skeptical about the quality, but I fucking made up my mind and ordered them. It was 5 months ago. I have to say that the handles are very durable and well made. The brushed nickel is well finished, no nicks, burrs or scratches. They look like pens you would pay 50% more for. Based on the packaging I think they were made in Germany (not a Chinese product shipped from Germany). The installation was standard, no adjustments were required, having removed the original door handles. After 5 months of use I have to say that I am very satisfied. The mechanisms have held and there is no sign of corrosion on the handles exposed to the air. (We're about 5 miles from the ocean.) The only issues are a locking doorknob that has to wiggle to install the lock, and the latch cover is flimsy, so you can pry it off with a vise. But the door has a glass pane, so an intruder can still get in. So for the money they are good and I would buy them again.
