The carpet is beautiful! The packaging was not very strong and had tears in the plastic, but the carpet was not damaged. It's an inch shorter than 12 feet and I had to cut the rug I have underneath. In the evening after unpacking, most of the dents were already gone. I can tell the ends don't stay bent for very long, but I move chairs and furniture around to hold them. I've attached a photo taken during the day and night to show the color. It's not as ivory yellow as the other ivory rug I bought, which I like a lot more. The design is done in very cool shades of grey, which is a bit out of sync with my warm grey-beige walls, but I'll keep the rug anyway because I love it so much! It's pretty soft to walk on, but I lay down to play with it. my nine month old and he scratches a bit when you lean on your elbows. Maybe I'll put a blanket down for her to play on. Overall, my husband and I are happy with our purchase! The vintage look is not as striking as in the picture, but I am delighted with the rug and its beautiful design.
