A good starter kit for switching to single rail knife sharpening. I sincerely recommend watching the video on how to use it. Whetstones are the best way to sharpen knives, but in general, they're not the easiest to use. This set came with cut resistant gloves, stones of different grits and a leather strap. It was also well packaged and safe and sound. A great gift for a chef or passionate home cook.
