Bought for our new tiled shower. The tube says "tile borders, tubs, showers and countertops". A call to Laticrete Technical Support revealed that this was not the case. This seems normal for vertical shower corners / where shower tile meets drywall. We patched the 90 degree area between the tile and shower pan with it before our shower door came in. This effectively paved the way for the water. seep through the liner to the front of the shower tray onto the floor behind the shower door transparent silicone line. After the shower water is turned off, any water remaining on the edge of the shower tray will slowly seep into the sealant pipe and then flow out. Call me old-fashioned, but that doesn't have to mean "for the shower." on the label unless it is actually waterproof. (I understand that "not for permanent water exposure" means "not for pool water"). I think Laticrete makes a more expensive 100% silicone version of this in all the colors so now I can pull out my new sealer. and replace it.
